hydrocity glitch in s3
« on: June 04, 2006, 04:26:45 am »
There is a glitch in hydrocity 2, right at the beginning of the level where for some reason, the wall that is supposed to push and kill you instead pushes you through the one of the ramps and wayyyy further into the level (in fact, I finished the level in about 42 seconds). I have no idea how I can get this glitch to work consistently, I have been attempting to recreate it but have not been successful. As I am new to the community and interested in the competition I've seen, would a glitch like this be allowed? I am assuming not, as someone else had to have seen this before me, but I just found this very interesting and I couldn't find any discussion on it. I am very annoyed that I can't do it again... does anyone know of any way to recreate this?

I haven't heard of a way to recreate it, but I have seen it before - however in my case I was shoved under the level and to my subsequent doom. I do, however, advise against submitting the time if you don't know exactly what it was.

However, it would indeed be allowed.

Sounds like a random glitch.  I have the game, but don't play it very often, but this glitch might just happen randomly.
